STaR Specialist Teaching

Our long-term collaboration with STaR and their early childhood specialist educators has provided our services with specialist guidance and practical strategies to support children with developmental concerns, delays, or disability - equipping our teams with the tools to help every child feel confident, included and ready to learn.

Through our partnership with STaR's Early Years Program, we have:  
✨ Supported children with disability or developmental delay to engage and learn meaningfully within our services
✨ Supported educators to collaboratively develop individual learning plans reflecting each child’s strengths, family priorities, the Early Years Learning Framework, NDIS goals and allied health recommendations
✨ Provided coaching, mentoring and ongoing professional learning for our educators.
✨ Provided additional support to the families of these children, including individualised guidance and support as their children transition from our services to school.

The program is free for our children and families. We are grateful for the long-term and positive impact STaR continues to bring to Kids’ Early Learning.
