Our approach to learning
Our purpose at Kids' Early Learning is to provide our community’s children with the best learning and social experience for school and life.
Our Ready for School and Ready for Life programs, help prepare children with communication and language, physical development, personal and social and emotional skills they need to be confident, self-assured and independent children. The program’s curriculum provides every child with an individualised program to suit their unique interests, stage of development and social skills.
Ready for School Program
The Ready for School program is designed to assist your child to develop their literacy, numeracy, scientific thinking, physical and social and emotional skills. Children’s social competence is critical to their school readiness and success at school. The program consists of four main topics which are each divided into four modules and the implementation of each module is modified and tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Children are curious and instinctively want to know why things occur. Activities within the Ready for School program aim to enhance children’s curiosity, problem solving, inquiry and reasoning skills. Activities and learning environments encourage children to be active participants in their own learning.
Ready for School consists of four topics, ensuring a child’s learning is holistic and all aspects of their development are considered.
Ready for Life Program
Ready for Life program has been designed to support children’s development across a number of key areas and ensure they are provided with a range of experiences and learning opportunities to reach their full potential.
The program will benefit all families especially those who are entering the workforce and provide them with peace of mind, knowing that their children are receiving care and education in an environment which will prepare them for both school and life.
Ready for Life is an integrated play based program. Through play and intentional teaching opportunities, children are provided with imaginary and real life situations to demonstrate their abilities and understanding of the world in which they live. Children are given opportunities to lead their learning through interest based projects and create a true sense of agency.
Based on key elements from leading theorists and educational models, Kids’ Early Learning Ready for Life is an innovative interactive program which is taking the lead and advocating for children to community, government and industry stakeholders.
The core of this program has been established around the importance of social competencies and building effective relationships. Intentional teaching and spontaneous experiences allow educators to scaffold learning and follow children’s interests.
