Meet the Director

Kel-KingsLangleyEast-AmyChao.jpg

Hi I'm Amy, Centre Director of Kids’ Early Learning Kings Langley East. I have been in the early childhood industry for over 15 years and can fluently speak, read and write both English and Chinese, which benefits me in managing and teaching practices.

I love children and am amazed with their capacity for unique and active learning. I strive to lead my team in providing children with a safe, welcoming, respectful, supportive and inclusive learning environment and delivering high quality education and care for them. I value families as the most important people in their child’s life. I have been actively promoting partnerships between families and educators and engaging in shared decision-making in curriculum and programs, and day to day service practices.

I believe it is vital for critical reflection and collaboration among children, educators, families and communities in the progress towards high quality services, and my team and I are working to achieve these.
