Meet Tandeep Brar
Centre Director

I have proudly been with Kids' Early Learning Blacktown City Council since 2009. My journey began after volunteering in my son’s kindergarten class, which inspired me to transition from being a high school science teacher to becoming an Early Childhood Teacher because all children deserve to grow in a safe and nurturing environment that embraces their culture and beliefs. A fun fact about me is that I love performing the traditional Punjabi folk dance, Giddha!

2. Implementing a strategic inclusion plan: We work closely with families and inclusion specialists to create learning environments for every child to participate, thrive and reach their full potential.

Strong community partnerships: Weekly involvement with CareVan Blacktown, where children and educators work together to prepare meals and volunteer at the organisation. Our commitment to sustainability is embedded through our gardening program, where fresh produce is harvested and incorporated into nutritious meals, with surplus produce donated to families as hampers.
   
   
4. Ongoing development and training: Our dedicated and long-standing educators continually strengthen their skills to provide the highest quality care and learning experiences.
   
   

5. Age-specific environments: Intentional learning experiences for our babies, toddler and preschool rooms to nurture development, interests and developing abilities.
