Kids' Early Learning Lalor Park

Meet the Director

Natasha_Powell_.jpgHi i'm Natasha, the centre director for Kids' Early Learning Lalor Park. I started with Blacktown City Council as a Relief Teacher in 2001 and was placed on a block placement at Lalor Park as an Early Childhood Teacher, which led to my permanent position as a Director in March 2007. It was a huge step for me in my career, but definitely worth it, I have learnt and grown as a person, employee and leader. Teaching children and making a difference in a child’s life has always been my career choice. My career in early childhood started when I use to admire my own teachers in my childhood. I can remember those teachers who inspired me to learn and grow, I wanted to be that person in the life of a child. Someone to respect, love, inspire, encourage, support and teach. I love to come to work every day to watch for those moments when the children finally reaches a milestone, solves a puzzle, completes a drawing of a person, or writes their name.
