Meet Yasaswini Pochareddy
Centre Director
I believe in fostering strong, positive relationships with children, families, educators and the Blackett community. My passion is, and always will be, inclusive practice and advocating for children who need a voice and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate, belong and thrive.
I firmly believe that every child possesses the gift of creativity. My goal is to establish a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where children can freely express themselves and develop confidence, strengthen their emotional regulation and reach their full potential.
What makes Blackett special?
1. Quality care since 1985: Kids' Early Learning Blackett brings expertise and wisdom in supporting the diverse and evolving needs of families in Blackett and surrounding suburbs.
2. Implementing a strategic inclusion plan: We work closely with families and inclusion specialists to create learning environments for every child to participate, thrive and reach their full potential.
3. Nurturing diversity and respect: Our culturally responsive programs, supported by strong partnerships with The Hive, NGROO, Dalmarri and other Aboriginal organisations, provide authentic learning experiences that help children develop respect, cultural understanding and a meaningful connection to Country.
4. Ongoing development and training: Our dedicated and long-standing educators continually strengthen their skills to provide the highest quality care and learning experiences.
5. Age-specific environments: Intentional learning experiences for our babies, toddler and preschool rooms to nurture development, interests and developing abilities.
