About Kids' Early Learning
To support all families and children to access quality care and education in a place where they feel safe, supported and respected.
Delivering a legacy of care since 1975
Blacktown City Council opened its first long day care centre and Family Day Care network in 1975, marking the beginning of a lasting commitment to supporting children, families and communities through quality early childhood education and care.
What began as a single service has grown into Kids’ Early Learning, now comprising 21 long day care centres, over 30 family day care services and 8 outside school hours care services across Blacktown and surrounding suburbs. For over 50 years, we have evolved alongside our community, responding to the changing needs of families while remaining committed to providing safe, nurturing and inspiring learning environments.
We are proud of our rich history and the generations of families who have entrusted us with their children's early learning journey. Today, that legacy continues as we inspire children to care, share and learn, delivering more than 23,250 sessions of care each month.
Our continuity of care is unlike any other
We understand the importance of consistency and familiarity in a child's development. Our integrated and collaborative network of services allow families to access a continuum of care and education throughout their child's early years to high school. Through strong relationships, shared values and a deep understanding of each child's individual journey, we help create smooth transitions, fostering a sense of belonging, confidence and security every step of the way.
We put our community first
As a council-owned, not-for-profit provider, we not only reinvest directly into our services and learning programs, but we also place a strong focus on supporting the professional development of our people. Being part of Kids’ Early Learning means joining a community-focused organisation committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our families.
With career opportunities and progression pathways across our services, head office and Blacktown City Council corporate services, our employees benefit from a stable, long-standing workplace, ongoing training and development, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career.
