The children and educators at Kids' Early Learning Doonside North participated in the Thrive @ 5 Soccer program run with Crawford Public School, Relationships Australia New South Wales and Mini Tots Soccer.
The 8 week program teaches the children the fundamental skills associated with soccer and how to work cooperatively in a team environment. The children and educators take a short walk to Crawford Public School for their session and learn about road safety, importance of being alert and observing traffic signs along the way.
Aside from being able to participate in some physical activities, the children gain some essential skills in preparing for school and life. Well done to our mini soccer superstars!
A friendly reminder that our Kids' Early Learning centres will be closed on Monday 11 June 2018 for the public holiday (Queen's Birthday).

Mother’s Day is a special day at Kids’ Early Learning. We get to share the love we have for our mothers and celebrate how much they mean to us. We learn what it means to be a mother – someone who has cared and loved for us and continues to do so no matter what.
Kids’ Early Learning Kings Langley East, Kids’ Early Learning Doonside North, Kids’ Early Learning Marayong and Kids’ Early Learning Doonside South celebrated Mother’s Day with a special morning tea. We had a mix of mothers, grandmothers, aunties, family and friends come along for a delicious morning tea and a mix of activities.
The children were so excited to be able to express their love for their mothers. They worked hard getting crafty and making personalised gifts. Some included honey suckle bath bombs and special cards!
Wishing all our families a wonderful and well deserved Mother’s Day <3
Our Kids' Early Learning educators are continually looking for fun ways to implement learning across their services. Here are some photos of our Kids' Early Learning sustainability champions attending training held by the Blacktown City Council Sustainability Hub.
In this training session, the educators learnt how to make beeswax paper to help reduce the amount of plastic wrap used in the services and family homes. The team are excited to share this information with their families and children to help minimise the use of plastic wrap in the children's lunch boxes and implement sustainable practices at home and at Kids' Early Learning. A great way to substitute to nature's own products!
The children from Kids' Early Learning Kings Langley South learnt about light, colour and reflection as they participated in a science experiment using the new rainbow coloured window boards. These happy little scientists had a great time giggling and learning together, not to mention how cute these photos came out! 😊
Don't forget to reserve your spot to the FREE Sesame Street Kids Concert, tickets go live from next Wednesday 9 May from 8am. Kids' Early Learning will also be around so come say hi!
Don't forget to transition before 2 July! Complete your online form now through myGov.
The children at Kids' Early Learning Marayong also contributed this week with ANZAC Day commemorations. Their were children representing their grandfathers by wearing their war veteran medals. A lot was learnt about the significance of ANZAC Day. 🏵️
The children at Kids’ Early Learning Willmot and Kids’ Early Learning Prospect West paid their respects this week for ANZAC Day. The children engaged with crafts, making poppy flowers for the memorial they created and reflected upon the history of our country.
The children remembered with a minute of silence as “Last Post” played and listened to the ‘Anzac Day Parade’ book by Glenda Kane & Lisa Allen, asking questions and showing a lot of interest along the way.
The children at Kids' Early Learning Quakers Hill North Preschool created a memorial table with a collection of personal family artifacts, reflecting upon Australian history. The children learnt through hands on experiences such as poppy making, ANZAC biscuit cooking and interactive story telling through suitable books.
