Recently, there have been numerous NSW Health infectious diseases alerts regarding measles across NSW.
Measles is a serious, highly contagious, viral illness that is easily spread through the air
NSW Health has advised that families with babies under 12 months who may be travelling this Easter and during the school holidays, should speak to their GP to make sure they are protected from measles.

We are excited to announce that Storypark is coming to Kids' Early Learning!
Storypark is a safe and secure interactive portal for our educators and families to communicate and share experiences. Read more below.
The children at Kids' Early Learning Mount Druitt are leaning towards a more environmental and natural type of learning.
During outdoor play, the children discovered a small abandoned nest in a tree and grew very curious. The educators used this curiosity to begin an investigation of nests and birds. They have been researching different kinds of nests that birds build and what makes a good strong nest.
Where will these investigations of nature take them? Only our creative and inquisitive minds would know.
The children at Kids' Early Learning Rooty Hill had some visitors from St John's Ambulance last week!
The Paramedics spoke to the children about the special equipment they use to treat people who are sick or hurt.
After the discussion, the children got to hop into the ambulance and lay on the stretcher with the stethoscope. The children enjoyed watching the flashing lights and listening to the sirens.
We've had some great feedback from parents and children who have attended our playgroups!
Don't miss out on tomorrow's playgroup from 1pm at the Mount Druitt Hub. Visit our events page for more details. See you there! 😀

The children at Kids' Early Learning Lalor Park have been learning about healthy eating. The children are encouraged to taste new foods and experience the flavours and textures.
To help families promote healthy eating at home, the educators have created a bag that holds cooking utensils. These utensils include a juicer, an ice cube holder and a vegetable peeler. Children take it in turn to take the bag home and families are encouraged to use them with the children to see how healthy foods are prepared.

Last month, the children at one of our Kids' Early Learning Family Day Cares celebrated Harmony Day and the Holi Festival.
The children chose a multicultural costume and performed Dhandia (a traditional Indian dance). The children also enjoyed a visit from our Children Development Officer Ella, who joined in on the celebrations.
Yet another successful playgroup held this afternoon at the Minchinbury Neighbourhood Centre 😊 We had a great turn out and the children were soaking up the lovely weather outdoors.
We have received positive feedback about the variety offered in our playgroup sessions. We have multiple play and learning stations, crafts and games set up along with time for stories, music and dancing. We also offer morning or afternoon tea and a private outdoor playground given the venue provides.
Please see a list of our upcoming playgroups on the events section. We hope to see you at the next!
Last week Kids' Early Learning Seven Hills West and Kids' Early Learning Lalor Park celebrated the 'Festival of Colour', also known as the festival of Holi.
The children put their imagination to work and engaged in several colourful activities. A 'rangoli' was designed by the children using colourful powders. The children also listened to a story about different cultures and celebrations, created some more master pieces and ran a colour run!
We are sure the children had many stories to tell about their coloured clothes that day 😅
Today we celebrate Harmony Day. Harmony Day is all about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all.
The children and families at Kids' Early Learning Kings Langley South, Kids' Early Learning Kings Langley East and Kids' Early Learning Mount Druitt held various events, many dressed in their traditional clothes and feasted on delicious food 😋
It was lovely to see the children so excited and proud of where they come from. Thank you to all the families that attended ❤️
Our little explorers at Kids' Early Learning Mount Druitt are learning all about sensory play. What seems to look like all fun is actually serious business for this lot. The children shared their experiences of the different sounds, movements and sensations these natural elements had to offer 🥰
